# Privacy Policy

Last updated 20 October 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how baselaunch (“we”, “us” or “our”) handles information in connection with the baselaunch interface at baselaunch.app (the “Interface”). baselaunch is a non-custodial, wallet-based interface, so we collect as little as possible and we never take custody of your assets or keys.

## 1. Information we handle

- Wallet address and on-chain activity. When you connect a wallet or send a transaction, your public wallet address and the resulting on-chain activity (launches, trades, transfers, fees) are processed by the Interface. This data lives on a public blockchain, is visible to anyone, and is permanent and outside our control.
- Content you submit. When you create a token you provide details such as name, ticker, description, links and an image. Images are pinned to IPFS (via Pinata) and this content is published on-chain and/or publicly on the Interface.
- Region. Our host derives your country from your IP address on each request, only to decide whether tokenized stock pairs can be shown. We do not store it.
- Limited technical data. Like most websites, our hosting provider processes basic technical data such as IP address and browser type to serve the site, keep it secure, and rate-limit abuse.
- Messages you send us. If you contact us, we receive what you choose to send.

We do not use analytics on the Interface. We do not ask for your name, email, or identity documents to use the Interface, and we never ask for or receive your private keys or seed phrase.

## 2. How we use information

We use the information above to provide and maintain the Interface, display tokens and market data, apply regional restrictions, keep the service secure and prevent abuse, and respond to messages you send us. We do not sell your personal information.

## 3. Who else is involved

The Interface depends on third parties that process data under their own policies: our hosting provider (Vercel), image pinning (Pinata / IPFS), the wallet connection service (Reown), Base RPC providers (your transactions are broadcast to the public network), wallet providers you choose to connect, and the block explorer we link to (Basescan). On-chain data, once published, is public and permanent and cannot be deleted by us.

## 4. Cookies and local storage

We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. The Interface uses your browser's local storage for basic preferences, such as the light or dark theme and your wallet connection, so the site works as expected. You can clear this at any time in your browser.

## 5. Retention

We keep technical data only as long as needed for the purposes above. On-chain data and content published to the blockchain or IPFS are permanent and not controlled by us.

## 6. Your choices

You can use much of the Interface without connecting a wallet. You control what content you submit and which wallet you connect. Depending on where you live, you may have rights over personal data that applies to you, such as to access, correct, delete, or restrict its processing, to object to processing, or to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority. To exercise any such right, contact us and we will respond as required by the law that applies to you. Note that data published on a public blockchain or to IPFS is permanent and cannot be changed or removed by us.

## 7. Children

The Interface is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

## 8. Changes

We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the date above.

## 9. Contact

Questions or requests about this Policy can be sent to us on [X](https://x.com/Baselaunchapp) or [Telegram](https://t.me/BaseLaunchapp).
