Earn from baselaunch coins with your own front end or referral links
On baselaunch, an app that launches coins through its own launch interface earns 20% of each coin's creator side on every trade, and a trade referrer earns 0.2% of each trade it sends. On $100,000 of trades with no creator fee, that is $140 and $200. Both shares are fixed in the contracts.
Numbers checked on chain on 20 October 2026.
The technical detail is in the docs.
How does a front end earn fees from baselaunch coins?
There are two roles. An app can hold one or both of them.
A launch interface is the app a coin was created through. When an app launches a coin with an interface address, that address is recorded on chain at creation. From then on it earns 20% of the creator side on every trade of that coin. The creator side is the creator part of the base fee plus any creator fee. This covers trades on the bonding curve and, after graduation, in the Uniswap pool. It lasts as long as the address holds the entry, and the current interface can hand it to another address. The registry that stores it has no owner.
A trade referrer is the address a trade was sent with. It earns 0.2% of that trade's volume. The amount is paid out of the protocol part and never out of the creator side. Without a referrer the protocol keeps 0.3% of the trade. With one, the protocol keeps 0.1%.
| Launch interface | Trade referrer | |
|---|---|---|
| Earns on | Every trade of coins launched through your app | Trades your app sends, on any coin that accepts a referrer |
| Share | 20% of the creator side | 0.2% of volume |
| Paid out of | The creator side | The protocol part |
| Share of each trade, no creator fee | 0.14% | 0.2% |
| Set when | Once, in the launch transaction | Per trade |
| Can be changed by the owner | No, fixed in the code | No, fixed in the code |
A coin created on baselaunch.app has no launch interface, so its creator keeps that part. Buys in the launch tax window also pay a launch tax. That tax is split between the protocol and the creator side like the base fee, with no referrer part.
How much does an integrator earn on a round amount of trades?
The tables use the 1% base fee, no creator fee and buyback off. The same rates apply on the curve and in the pool, where the base fee is 1%. The protocol share is 30% of the base fee and the creator side is 70%.
$100 of volume:
| Recipient | No interface, no referrer | Interface, no referrer | Interface and referrer |
|---|---|---|---|
| Protocol | $0.30 | $0.30 | $0.10 |
| Trade referrer | $0.00 | $0.00 | $0.20 |
| Creator | $0.70 | $0.56 | $0.56 |
| Launch interface | $0.00 | $0.14 | $0.14 |
| Total | $1.00 | $1.00 | $1.00 |
$100,000 of volume:
| Recipient | No interface, no referrer | Interface, no referrer | Interface and referrer |
|---|---|---|---|
| Protocol | $300.00 | $300.00 | $100.00 |
| Trade referrer | $0.00 | $0.00 | $200.00 |
| Creator | $700.00 | $560.00 | $560.00 |
| Launch interface | $0.00 | $140.00 | $140.00 |
| Total | $1,000.00 | $1,000.00 | $1,000.00 |
An app that is both the launch interface of a coin and the referrer of a trade on it earns both lines: $340 on $100,000 in the last column. A coin can carry a creator fee of 0 to 10%. The creator fee is part of the creator side, so the launch interface also takes 20% of it. The referrer share does not change with the creator fee.
How do I set the interface and referrer through the API?
The public API at https://api.baselaunch.app/v1 is free and keyless. Its builders return unsigned transactions for the user's wallet to sign. They never hold keys or funds.
POST /v1/prepare/launchtakes an optionalinterface, registered as the coin's launch interface. It also takes an optionalreferrer, paid on the opening buy and ignored whenbuyAmountis 0.POST /v1/prepare/buyandPOST /v1/prepare/selltake an optionalreferrer.- The response field
referrerPaidis true when the referrer will be paid. That means a coin launched on launcher 2.1.0, or a launch with an opening buy. A coin launched on launcher 2.0 takes no referrer, soreferrerPaidis false. - When
referrerPaidis true, the response includesfallback, the same action without the referrer. Send it iftxreverts.
Each coin record shows the interface and launchReferrer set at launch. Each trade record shows the referrer and referrerAmount it paid out.
How are interface and referral fees claimed?
Fees are never pushed into wallets during a trade. Each share is credited to a balance in a fee escrow, and the recipient claims it whenever they like.
- A trade referrer is credited in the trade itself. The interface share reaches the escrow when the coin's fees are swept.
- Balances are kept per asset and per launcher set. The v20 and v21 escrows are separate.
GET /v1/wallets/{address}/claimablelists what a wallet can claim, one row per escrow and asset.POST /v1/prepare/claimreturns one unsigned claim per row. The escrow pays whoever sends the claim, so the recipient wallet must sign and send it.- A contract used as an interface or referrer recipient must implement
receive(), or it can never claim its ETH credits.
The escrow has no owner and no rescue function. It pays a balance only to the address it was credited to.
Can the protocol owner change these shares?
No. The launch interface share (20% of the creator side) and the referrer share (0.2% of volume) are fixed in the code. The owner can set the protocol share between 20% and 50% for new launches only. Each coin copies its fee terms when it is created. Moving the protocol payout address leaves the creator, interface and referrer shares unaffected. The owner's fee rescue functions pay the normal split, and the interface share is kept.
Every endpoint, parameter and response field is in the API reference.
Questions
What is the difference between a launch interface and a trade referrer?
A launch interface is the app a coin was created through, and it earns 20% of that coin's creator side on every trade. A trade referrer is the address a single trade was sent with, and it earns 0.2% of that trade's volume, paid from the protocol part.
Does a coin created on baselaunch.app pay a launch interface?
No. A coin created on baselaunch.app has no launch interface, so its creator keeps that part of the creator side.
Can a referrer be paid on every baselaunch coin?
No. A coin launched on launcher 2.1.0 pays the referrer, and the API returns referrerPaid as true. A coin launched on launcher 2.0 cannot pay a referrer, so its call carries none and referrerPaid is false.
Can a smart contract receive interface or referral fees?
Yes, but it must implement receive(). A contract without receive() cannot accept ETH, so it can never claim its ETH credits.
Can the protocol owner lower the interface or referrer share?
No. The launch interface share of 20% of the creator side and the referrer share of 0.2% of volume are fixed in the code, and no one can change them.
Every cost is on fees, and what the owner can and cannot do is on security.
Meme coins are highly speculative and most lose their value. Nothing here is financial advice.
